PERSONAL NOTE FROM THE OWNER

Hello neighbors,

Welcome to Dai Yee’s Asian Kitchen. The origin of the name for “Dai Yee” means the eldest Aunt in Chinese. I have been working in the kitchen since I was nine years old washing dishes and packing carryout orders. My parents barely spoke English and had five children. My Father worked seven days straight for ten years and my mother also did the same too. I am the eldest sibling, I worked along with all my siblings. Growing up we had three restaurants. Our customers became our friends and became part of our family.

In order to have a leverage in the food business. I needed to be knowledgeable about cooking and how my customers will like our food. My concept is quality and generous portions. I am passionate about bringing good food to people. With this mind I like to bring togetherness. To create special moments and great memories when people sit and dine together.
